Happy Monday.

Our weekend was lovely.  Full of childhood laughter and smiles, quiet thoughts, & visiting one of our favorite places.  Full of tradition and memories, playing near the ocean, watching the kids run in the sand & race through buttercup-spotted grass.  ‘Still soaking in its many moments in retrospect.

Quiet moments like this, the last photo of yesterday before the sun sank completely:

I hope the week ahead is a happy one- full of small, quiet things that bring your heart a little more joy.

“It was the cooling hour, just when the rounded Red sun sinks down behind the azure hill, Which then seems as if the whole earth is bounded, Circling all nature, hush’d, and dim, and still, With the far mountain-crescent half surrounded On one side, and the deep sea calm and chill Upon the other, and the rosy sky With one star sparkling through it like an eye.”

-Lord Byron, British poet (1788-1824) – from Don Juan
