Serenity.

I have 3 photos from our little trip to the Cape that I want to enlarge and hang in our kitchen, above our white beadboard. This is one of them– and my favorite. Because it brings back a feeling of serenity and contentment. Because it makes me want to go back.

So, I’m looking for advice from my sisters.  Katie and Kara, what do you think? Above the beadboard in a group of three large frames, or should I hang this one alone over our bed? Will it work in our room? Or is it too simple/modern for that spot? Too clashing with the paisley shades? And if I put three frames on my kitchen wall, what will I do with that mirror and the canvas there? Help me out here…  (Readers, another reason why sisters are spiffy. These two are who I always go to for decorating schemes. And they won’t beat around the bush. Which I need. For cooking and baking, I call Colleen or Melinda. And Mom. Child-rearing conundrums? Mom. Anything else I want? Dad. Families are great.)

Kara - ooh I like. I’m thinking though maybe hang it against the brick in your bedroom?? or what about the wall next to the door in the kitchen? guess it depends on how big you were going to get it printed

Betsy - Uh-oh, Kara. Even more ideas now. I was thinking big.

Kate - Go for it! I am partial to the tree print in a large canvas for your bedroom!

Betsy - Oh, I forgot about that one, Katie! I almost like the tree better in an oil painting by a certain artist I know, tho’… :)
