There’s Still Time.

The winner of the giveaway(s) from my Etsy shop (here) will be announced later tonight– but there’s still time to enter. Just leave your comment in the post below this one, and your name will be added to the list of possible winners.

And because every post needs a picture, here’s one of my boy after school yesterday. My little dreamer. He doesn’t usually have much to say, (his twin sister does enough speaking for him!)- but he’s always thinking. And when he does talk, sometimes it’s… well, interesting. Last week over cereal, he’s eating breakfast at the kitchen table, and I’m in the mudroom. I hear him heave a huge sigh. He says to Joel, “Ohhh… I wish so bad I could be the first kid on the moon. I really, really want to. SO bad. Except, then I’d be famous. And I sure wouldn’t like that!”  Hmm. Okay. Thanks for sharing, little man.

*I’m his mother, so I’ll admit it:  Sometimes I take his picture just because his eyelashes beg me to. Yep, I’m that ridiculous.

Cheryl Ryan - I know where he gets his adventurism from! I am sure his grandpa would love to go with him to the moon!

Jeanie Hany - Betz, your web site is always intriguing and invites us back. When you asked for comments I can only say keep up the good work. I went on a search for an inspirational verse, because I can’t come up with words of my own. I went to the book we received from a friend when Russell died. In there are two short statments. “The only courage that matters is the kind that gets you from one moment to the next”. Mignon McLaughlin. “If the future seems overwhelming, remember that it comes one moment at a time.” Beth Mende Conny. Sorry for the lengthy message.
