Well, your comments have been considered, and the results are in. We employed a very specific, scientific method of choosing the 3 winners of any item of the winners’ choice from my Etsy shop. So scientific– Think ripped pieces of paper and three children at dinnertime, closing their eyes and picking blindly. It worked well, as evidenced here:
Connor was rather pleased to have picked a commenter named Gwen as the winner. Congrats, Gwen!! Joel was quite happy with himself for picking Jen C. as the winner. (Hi, Jen! Thanks for the note– it’s been a long time!)
And Nora’s reaction to her winner’s name? Um, ebullience. Giggling. Squealing. Screeching. Why? Well, because. She looked at her paper with a quizzical little frown, and said, “Huh? Jill’s? Wha– Oh! JILL S.!!!! Hehehehe! Can I call Grandma Ryan and tell her who I picked?! Hehehehe! Can I? Please?!” See, Jill is a new friend of the family who feels like an old friend. Who lives way too far away. And who the kids talk about on a regular basis. To say Nora was excited is, well, an understatement.
CONGRATULATIONS to all 3 of you– Gwen, Jen C. and Jill S! The only thing left for you to do now is to go to my Etsy shop and start choosing which item you’d like me to send to you!
