It’s no secret that I am a big fan of Etsy.com. I love to just look at all the creative shops and get ideas for my own little home. It’s also no secret that I love a good quote. I have books (and books) of great quotes throughout American history, and many of them are highlighted as favorites. So, mix creativity with a good quote, and I’m a happy girl. Add in letterpress on beautiful paper, and I’m thrilled.

Tagteamtompkins is a mother/daughter team selling beautiful letterpress prints on quality paper for a very reasonable price. I found a quote I really liked, with two little heart embellishments on the side. Well, I’m not a fan of hearts, so I convo’d the sellers, and they were happy to do a custom order of a hand-lettered print without embellishments. And I love it. Not only because it’s pretty, but also because it sits at my desk, right above my computer screen, and reminds me of something too important to forget. So when it’s late, and there’s editing and orders and emails to return, sometimes I look up and realize it’s time. Time to turn it off, time to get up and soak up the here and now. It reminds me to drink from my full cup. And that’s pretty impressive for a 5×7 piece of paper.
