Marlene & Chris. Sneak Peek.

Three images of Marlene and Chris’ portraits from their lovely June wedding.

Three of my favorites, chosen because-

Marlene has a beautiful smile.

(I wish you could hear her laughter in these photos. It’s pretty. And dimples are spiffy.)

Because Chris has a quiet, steady way about him.

(And it’s refreshing to see how he loves her.)

Because-

They are both just really nice people.

Because-

Though it was grey and raining off and on that second Saturday in June, they were thankful and happy and enjoying time spent with family and friends.

Because-

I like shooting at Elizabeth Park. Even in drizzle.

(Maybe especially in drizzle.)

Because it’s green and saturated with the scent of color and roses and the freshness of late spring.

And the reason I chose three photos instead of two?

Because the second image is Paul’s. Kayla had another wedding that day and he was kind enough to fill in as second shooter. That second picture is one of my very top choices from the day. The depth of field, the roses soft in the foreground, the small candid moment he caught without the couple knowing. He’s good at the manual photography thing, yes? (Kayla, it was taken with your favorite lens. No surprise, right? I need to use that one more often…)

Full wedding post Monday.
