Though this qualifies as a Friday Favorite, it’s really occurring Saturday.
The Ellington Farmer’s Market is hosting a special Artists in the Park day tomorrow. Local artists are joining with local growers, showcasing and selling their work- everything from painting, to pottery, to original art and photography. I know some of the artisans who will be there, and it sounds like it’s something we shouldn’t miss. Right next to the fire station on Main Street, the event is held at Arbor Park. If nothing else, you need to go for a cup of coffee inside a hand-thrown mug, combined with Luann’s Bakery items. Talk about the right way to start off your weekend…
