It was one of those cool fall days where the light changes by the minute, where the sky erupts in a shower of sunshine even as raindrops sprinkle down. The sun brought warmth and then the clouds brought a steely grey chill when they overshadowed. Sometimes the rain came, and sometimes it held back. It didn’t matter, though. They were getting married, starting a life together for real.
And they may find that sometimes the storms will come, and the sun can be slow in arriving. That sometimes the sky will be brilliantly, beautifully blue, the horizon endless with possibility. Sometimes they might search for the sun through the grey sky and it will hide its face for awhile. It doesn’t matter, though. Because they have been blessed with each other & the love of so many who care.
Wishing you so many, many blessings throughout your life, Ben & Christie, in both sunshine and in rain.
