13 doesn’t like a photo.

He doesn’t show up on this blog as often as he used to. He’s thirteen, after all, and I feel like it’s only fair that I ask him before posting things that involve his day-to-day. I don’t want to infringe on the person he’s becoming. It’s kind of important that in this age of social media we don’t embarrass him to death. So I ask permission.
‘Good thing he gave it here.

The light was great, and I asked Joel for 5 minutes to take some pictures. He gave me 2, tops. I may have worked harder for these pictures than I do for toddler shoots. He thinks he’s hilarious. Sometimes we think he’s mildly funny. (Sometimes.)

But I wanted some really good pictures of this kid I love. So much.
(‘Better quit now before I embarrass him.)
We did get a few favorites.’ Just can’t decide if the favorites are the outtakes or the real ones.
