Theirs was a day of easy, carefree enjoyment. Which belied the fact that such extraordinary physical work had gone into their wedding. The venue was Rachel and Jesse’s beautiful home, set on a pretty piece of land in Brooklyn, CT. But mere months ago, it was reported to be anything but beautiful. They cut down trees and built walls, scrubbed floors, painted, installed plumbing, hung drywall, ran electricity, and so much more. Intense planning, concentration and patience went into building the space, working together with the help of a slew of friends and family. It could have made for a stressful event if it all didn’t come together. But on their wedding day, they moved with complete appreciation and relaxation through every moment. From getting ready, to the ceremony, on to the reception, and right down to the last firework, they beamed. It had all come together, the start of something so good. And whatever comes, it is obvious to all who surround these two- They will face the future with hard work and a whole lot of love, both for each other and everyone around them.
Rachel and Jesse, wishing you so many, many blessings.
