Kayla, I love looking at these and seeing your little family. So much has changed in the past few years- so many, many good things have happened and I couldn’t be more thrilled for you & Brian & Emma.
Thank you for always being there, for holding heavy gear, and second-shooting, and finding the perfect light. Thanks for holding crutches, and making sure I didn’t hurt myself even more, and stepping in when I had to step out. Thanks for driving me to every session over these past 3 months, and putting too many miles on your car. People say it in a casual way, but I mean it sincerely- I truly couldn’t have done it without you. Thanks for shooting an entire wedding without me, with confidence and skill, at a moment’s notice. Thanks for being an even better assistant than I could have imagined when you emailed me all those years ago. But more than all of these things, thanks for being my friend.
