This is Julia. She’s graduating. She’s smiley. She’s calm. She’s nice.
Plus, she’s Kayla’s sister. So I knew it would be a nice shoot.
I can’t always pin down the reason why, but Senior Sessions are some of my very favorite things to photograph.
It might be the eager sense of opportunity, or the time to get to know someone a little bit more.
It could be that I’m remembering that feeling of summer and life rising ahead, unspoken dreams ready to fill its void.
Whatever it is, I know it’s a privilege, and I can’t help but leave with a smile.
Julia, thank you for such a nice evening, for tromping through grass and getting bug bites, sitting next to smelly dumpsters, and maybe giving me the courage to ignore some posted signs on a rooftop in Hartford. I’m glad we did.
(Thank you, Kayla!)
Kayla’s perspective. Love the lupines in the foreground-
Another fun Kayla viewpoint:
Kayla - Wow. These are beautiful pictures of a beautiful girl. But I may be a little biased
Parker - WOW i’m glad I was able to see these you look absolutely beautiful.
ericamay - Oh, the last image is just lovely. Her expression says so much and I love the composition and colors!
