If you know Josie even a little bit, then you can’t help but like her a lot. She’s outgoing and kind, a down-to-earth mixture of understanding and compassion in her eyes. Her huge smile draws you in; her contagious laughter causes you to laugh, too. You can’t help but look at her and wonder about her bright future, think about what good things are in store for this green-eyed girl. And there’s a little part of you that hopes when your own young daughter gets a little older, that you will have done even half as good a job as Josie’s parents have done. She is special, from a special family, and loved by so many.

It was such a privilege to shoot your senior pictures, Josie. I loved the time we spent together, acquiring mosquito bites and scratches from thorny weeds as we tromped through Ellington chasing pretty light.
