Whimsy.

Thinking back on this session makes me smile.  A quiet spring day, surrounded by green grass and apple blossoms.  Exploring an orchard isn’t a difficult way to spend an evening.  And it’s certainly not difficult when it involves old friends from way back.  Namely Paul’s best man and his wife, my dear friend, who I’ve known so long I can’t remember life without.  We were neighbors back in the day, and now we’re neighbors again. And that makes me happy, too. Kinda’ special to watch your little ones, Ben and Carla.  ‘So glad I was able to spend time with you and yours– Enjoy your photos!

And this little one?  Oh, she is just. plain. fun.

Beautiful baby. Beautiful mama.

I know, it’s an orchard, in springtime, with beautiful color.  So why the black and white?  I couldn’t help it.  Cloudy spring light makes the most creamy, beautiful black and whites.  So I went with it.

Okay, so these next two pictures remind me to schedule a photo session for Paul and I.  (Ever hear the story of the shoemaker’s daughters?  Yup, that’s us.  Guilty as charged.)

Placid, blue eyed boy.  So sweet and mild the whole time we were shooting.

Remember this, Carla?  Adrienne was taking her job so seriously– “I wockin’ him!  I wockin’ him!” :)

I love those little eyes peeking out:

Thanks for trusting me with your memories and spending time with me, L family.  I enjoyed being with you all!

*Note:  I have openings for only 2 more orchard sessions over the next two weeks (max).  That’s it, so if you’re interested now is definitely the time to contact me. Thanks!
