Little One.

One thing I love about my ‘job’ is that I get to know people like Sara and Brian.  Once you meet them, you like them.  Seriously.

After shooting their maternity session (seen here) in March, I got an email from Sara asking if I’d get some newborn photos once their baby arrived.  Um, yes?  So I was thrilled to get a follow-up email letting me know that Miss Peyton had arrived.  We picked a softly-lit evening for our shoot, and headed outside for most of the session.

Lovely evening.  Lovely light.  Lovely family.

For a brand new infant, Peyton was so alert and aware of her surroundings.  She loved the sound of her parents’ voices!
