I know, I missed the Friday favorite last week. I’m sorry. But it was a Friday like I had never experienced before. :) More to come on that, I assure you. But for now, you will be glad that I wrote this post. Think of it as a gift. A public service. A favor. Because if you happen to purchase this Friday favorite, you will thank me. It’s that good.
The insulated Camelbak water bottle. I use it every day. And I like it so much I bought one for Paul. And told my sisters about it. And now I’m telling you. I put ice in it in the morning, and the ice is still there 16+ hours later. The outside is not cold to the touch, which I appreciate as my hands are freezing all the time. Like year-round. So I’m thrilled with that fact. The ‘bite cap’ is a little hard to get used to at first, but it’s interchangeable if you prefer a different style.
So, last Saturday, it was hot. Like steaming. You could see the haze. I was shooting in a black shirt, with a heavy camera, and a black shootsac on my shoulder. In the sun. For a couple hours. Sound like fun?I left my water bottle in the blazing hot truck. When Kara went and got it out for me, the water was freezing cold. With ice in it. I know, good story. Can you tell I like my Camelbak? Plus, it fits in my shootsac. (Which is great. When I remember to put it in there…)
Here’s a link for you to see for yourself. (It’s not cheap, I know. But it is worth it. I know.)
One thing: Make sure you get the insulated one. There’s another non-insulated stainless style that’s larger– which I’m sure works fine. But this one is great.
Enjoy!
Cheryl - I ordered 2 – one for Dad and one for me, so they should be here tomorrow via another great product – Amazon Prime!
Kayla - ok- I was so excited about this post because I was going to ask you what type of water bottle you had the next time I saw you–this is perfect. Instead I will have one of my own!!
