The here and now.

I came around the corner into the living room this morning, and saw this. Which is nothing new, really. These two reading together on this chair happens every day. But I really saw it for the first time. All I could think was, “When will this stop?” I’ve seen it so long, taken it for granted for almost 8 years. I knew that I’d better take a photo now, before it ceased. Something tells me that either this chair is getting smaller, or our twins are growing up way too fast.  I fear it is the latter.

It all seemed familiar, and then I decided to look through some old photos.

I’m sensing a pattern here.

For now, I’m hoping that this pattern holds. For a little while longer.

teresa - our twins are 50 and we love the “twin things” they continue to do. one of our favorites is how they unknowingly went to have their drivers licenses renewed on the same day and at same office (different times), wearing the same style/color tops (including similar hairstyles). they realized it when one stopped by to show her new license picture. the photographer must have thought she was seeing things!! we’re thankful for their special bond ~ it’s a beautiful blessing.
