It’s done, and it was so fun to knit.
This is the second sweater I’ve made for Nora, and I kinda’ love doing them for her. She’s always appreciative, and a little shy about it, and will later tell me that she told her teacher her mom made it. Which does any mother’s heart good, I should think. I will enjoy her admiration until she’s someday a little embarrassed of me. It will happen eventually, I suspect. For now, though, I’ll enjoy this time with my little freckle-faced girl who is generous with her kindness.
