Recently, Connecticut has been snow-laden. For weeks upon weeks. It just lingers and adds to that claustrophobic cabin fever.
So, I do what I can to keep sane.
One of those things is knitting.
Hats, and baby toys, and baby blankets, and mittens, a cowl and an afghan. Knitting anything that will keep me from losing the battle of snow fatigue.
First up, is my own little attempt at a custom blanket for my dear little new nephew, Emmett Patrick. Here’s his gift, knit up in Nice and Knit DK Driftwood. The Emmett Blanket.
And here he is, Emmett Patrick Stanley, dearest little love.
Sigh. There’s just nothing like a new little life.
Julie - oh my gosh, that blanket is stunning, and your nephew is cute as pie! what beautiful photos. And that blanket totally needs to be a pattern- it’s spectacular.
Jill - Amazing blanket, precious baby, and awesome photos!!
