So far, this is what our summer looks like.
So far, it’s just right.
Yes, that is a dog. At our house. You are not, in fact, seeing things. Also, I like said dog and am enjoying having her. You read that right. It may have something to do with how much this boy is thrilled with her companionship. And she’s really a good little bugger. We have a dog. And I photographed her. You just never know a day will bring, do you?

Betsy - Jeff- You made me laugh! I don’t think Eric should worry- I’m very partial to people…
Jill - Your house looks very similar to ours – down to having a dog!! I thought you said you weren’t a dog person – glad to see you changed your mind – even if you’re just borrowing him for a while from your folks. Rocky is Tess’s favorite. She also loves the animal books by Erin Hunter. I think your kids would too.
Betsy - You’re right, Jill- not a dog person… but I do like this one. Go figure! Thanks for the book recommendation from Tess. We’ll have to check that series out!
Cheryl - I was really glad to see that Shino is loving the “life of a babysat dog”. Looks like it is an easy thing for Connor to keep her happy. (I must say, I am not sure this is my daughter, who never wanted a dog, speaking.) All the kids look like they are enjoying their summer so far also!!
