NYC love.

I have much to share from my little day trip to New York City.

Why is it that traveling alone to NYC can make me feel more grown up than parenting three children? How does that make any sense? Well, I almost felt quite grown up…

-until I had to call my little sister and use her as my personal GPS so I could get to Union Station

-until I misplaced my wallet at said station (not kidding)

-until I realized that the last time I visited the city was for my 7th grade field trip

-until I found out that hailing a cab from Grand Central took a little more than, well, just standing there- much as I wanted to blend in. :)

It was a deliciously exhilarating day. I’m so thankful to have had the opportunity. ‘Funny how living close to such an iconic place makes it easy to take it for granted. So, knowing how close it really is, and how easy it is to get there, I can’t wait to go with Paul next time.

Lindsay & Todd- there are lots of images from our full day of shooting, so it’s hard to know where to start. But here are a few quick favorites to hold you over:

I can’t thank you enough, Lindsay and Todd. You treated me like an old friend, and I had such a great time with the two of you. I loved spending the day together and seeing your city right alongside you. Thanks for being so welcoming and thoughtful. Many more photos to come in your full blog post!
