Little Bits of Life.

It’s simple, but just the way we like it.

It’s imaginative toys and made up realities.

It’s seeing possibility in a fertile row of garden soil.

It’s laughter heard in the backyard, young voices calling.

It’s three children in a little front yard, jumping in late sunshine.

It’s underdogs and swing sets, widening smiles, and dirt-laden bare feet.

It’s green grass and flowers blooming and feeling like this moment is just right.

It’s knowing that life is good, that the here and now is what we’ll want to long remember.

It’s  knowing that the mundane really isn’t, that in fact it’s the small things which will resonate.

It’s breathing in, being so glad to be here, looking back on adversity, smiling that we are in this place.

It’s home.

It’s life.

Simple.
