A pretty day, with sun peeking in and out of the clouds. A farm full of fun places to shoot. A couple whose smiles never quit. Seriously.
You might recognize Sara and her family?
Yup, her family is kinda’ special to me. I like ‘em a lot.
It’s a privilege I do not take lightly when a family asks me to document the milestones of their life. But really, they kindly include me in those moments. So, thank you to the Trinque family.
…And here’s yet another milestone-
I love shooting in places like this- full of tall grass, pretty light, and old trucks. (Plus, it’s kinda’ fun to jump up onto an old hay wagon and take pictures. Yup.)
I love the dichotomy of contrasting old and rusty with something happy and pretty-

An old tandem bike and lilacs from our garden? Yes, please.

Do you know how much fun it is for Kayla and I to shoot in a barnyard?
Lots of fun. And full of laughs. (And lots of moments where Kayla is trudging along with all the stuff I bring. She’s good like that.)
Plus, look at this cute little bugger-
-And even cuter couple. (Yes, Jon maybe heard the words cute and pretty a few times that day. Sorry, Jon! :))

Jon smiles a lot. Sara said that it’s pretty much non-stop, his huge grin. Something tells me she brings that out in him.
And by the looks of things? He makes her smile, too-

Sara and Jon, thank you. For letting me in, for picking a stellar location, and for being so easy to work with. We’re looking forward to shooting your September wedding!
