Friday Favorite.

Todays’ Friday Favorite:  David Austin English roses.  So beautifully in bloom right now, and so sweetly scented.  The names are pretty spiffy too– James Galway, Geoff Hamilton, Pat Austin, William Shakespeare, and Tess of d’Urbervilles, to name a few.  And my favorite of all?  Abraham Darby.  If there was a way to digitize smells, I would pick that scent to share.  Such a distinct, lovely scent.  They make for some of the best bouquets:

I’ll have a limited number of bouquets available tomorrow (Sat.) at the Ellington Farmer’s Market in Arbor Park– perfect for a Memorial Day weekend picnic.  You might even see a certain set of twins selling lemonade @ the Muddy Brook Potters tent…  See you there!
