  • WELCOME!

Thanks for stopping by! I'm Betsy, and I like taking pictures-- of people, most of all. I'm wife to Paul and mother to Joel, Nora and Connor. They are my favorite subjects. I'm a Special Care nurse by day, a knitter and reader by night. I love New England, and Cape Cod most of all.

I am available for some limited travel, especially if it's to Ireland or some other lovely clime.

Wanna' get in front of my camera? Get in touch and we'll set up a session!

Four.

So here’s the thing:  It’s busy being a family. And life is speeding by. There are schedules to keep, and laughter to be had. There’s a husband and a wife. And two little boys with light in their eyes. There are mistakes to be made, and triumphs to be had. There are tears to be shed, and lots of teaching. And learning. Always the learning. It’s busy and chaotic, and fun. Really fun. It’s not perfect, and sometimes it’s messy, and faces need to be washed, and teeth brushed, and shirts tucked in, and hair combed, and, oh, no, we’re late, gotta’ run, rush out the door to make it on time. There’s laundry, and skinned knees, and new words, and lots of runny noses and there’s crying over bumps and bruises. There are scrapes to kiss, and boys to chase after, and one just started walking, and now it’s overtime with the running after it all. And it’s not perfect. But it’s happiness. In the busy, the chaotic, the rush of the everyday. Throughout it all, blended right there into the mix, there’s joy. Hold on tight. Just hold on. It’s all just speeding by.

Dylan Turns One

I love photographing this family. They’re fun, and kind, and relaxed. It’s fast and easy, and just plain enjoyable.

Thanks, Carlsons. Happy Birthday, dearest Dylan Grace!
